The Grundig DigtaSoftware Development Kit I (SDK I) enables the use of DSS standards under certain conditions by connecting and integrating digital Grundig dictation devices or systems with the accompanying software applications and accessories (scanners, etc.), in some of the software the customer is to develop.
Using the command line, the SDK I also enables the integration of GBS dictation software for recording and playing DSS files on the computer. In addition, it allows the user to select as well as change the header information of DSS/DSSPro files on the computer.
SDK I allows the device settings to be configured on the GBS dictation device and communication between the computer and GBS dictation device via control files (COM, USB, HID controls) as well as with the adapter server control, allowing you to programme buttons and switches on the dictation device freely.
The SDK I also enables a simple DSS player to play unencrypted DSS/DSSPro files, but which cannot be controlled by other applications.
Digta SDK I consists of:
- Documentation (description/instructions on the use of SDKs and a definition/explanation of the controls of DigtaSoft applications)
- Software tools/modules (definitions, program components) for communicating with GBS hardware, which is integrated in the existing integrator application when connected as a runtime module.
- DSS player (a simple, not remote controlled player for playing DSS and unencrypted DSSPro files).
- Conversion of .dss and .ds2 files from GBS devices into .wav files on work station installations.
