Switching over to digital dictation is straightforward. It is possible to integrate the technology into existing Windows and Citrix IT structures (Linux in preparation). Thanks to a software developer kit, the DigtaSoft software can also be incorporated into any software environment (e.g. medical software/HIS/RIS or as solutions for a lawyer's office). To make the switch-over from analogue to digital dictation easier, Grundig Business Systems has also taken the benefits of the Stenorette over to its new digital equipment in the Digta series. Key features include the easy and intuitive operation with the familiar Grundig Slide switch, and the clear menu guidance which has been adopted almost wholesale by the digital devices. In addition to all the usual functions of the Stenorette, you also have the complete range of functions offered by digital technology. Nothing changes either for the secretary: Headphones, foot switch, etc. are identical for the digital transcription station. It's just that now the dictations are saved on the PC system - and can be transferred more easily. If only certain areas of your company are to be changed over to digital technology at first, Grundig Business Systems can provide combined analog/digital typing workstations which enable the office to work either with analog equipment or digitally. We are in fact the only supplier of such hybrid technology where both dictation cassettes as well as Digta Card MMCs can be played back, in combination with a traditional playback device. Simply insert, listen and type as normal. This does not just allow dual operation at the desk but, above all, a gradual migration to new technology as well. It's a fact that not everyone wants to completely change their systems from analog to digital overnight; there are also many users who simply prefer to stay with the familiar analog technology of the Stenorette, while letting their colleagues move onto the new digital technology
