The new DigtaSoft version 4.1 is available from January. In addition to the many new functions and improvements, the licensing has been changed too. DigtaSoft 4.1 can now be used on any number of workstations and is available as a free Update for all operators. Changed licensingDigtaSoft 4.1 is available as an update, free of charge to all users of digital dictation hardware. This allows users of older GBS software to update to the latest version free of charge. The limitation to ten users no longer applies, and separate licensing is also no longer necessary. DigtaSoft 4.1 can therefore be installed on as many workstations as desired.DigtaSoft Pro 4.1 has much greater functionality for an efficient Workflow and can be used in a terminal Server environment (Citrix, WTS 2003). DigtaSoft Pro 4.1 now has Concurrent user licensing, meaning that it can be installed on as many workstations as desired, however, only as many workstations can actively use the software as the license has been purchased for. DigtaSoft Pro is only sold by certified CGPs. Important: The software can only be used in combination with Grundig Business Systems playback and dictation hardware. The special GBS device integration hardware (for i-devices) cannot be used in conjunction with DigtaSoft. PositioningDigtaSoft is the basic software for digital dictation and is included with all corresponding hardware products. This allows users to build up a dictation system with all the essential functions for large or small networks.DigtaSoft Pro goes further, offering many more functions for a more efficient workflow. The software can be used in any size of network, from a two workstation network to large networks of any size. Only the Pro version has terminal server support (CITRiX, WTS 2003). DigtaSoft Pro is particularly useful when there is a high volume of dictation when an optimal workflow results in a saving of resources. If customers want to be sure that future versions have all the functions they need, they should invest in the DigtaSoft Pro version, as it is most likely that only DigtaSoft Pro will retain these functions in their entirity.
