International design award for Digta Sonic Mic
|
Grundig Business Systems has won, yet again, one of the most coveted
international design competitions: The 2008 iF Product Design Award has
been awarded for the Digta Sonic Mic, which went on sale in August 2007
and is the forerunner of the new premium product family DigtaSonic.
Grundig Business Systems received the 2007 iF Product Design Award last
year for the Digta 415.
The combination of sound quality and comfortable elegance in the
Digta SonicMic were particularly convincing arguments for the 2008 iF
Product Design Award jury. Whether it is the velvety, non-slip "Soft
Touch Composite" surface, the ergonomically optimised extra wide
sliding switch for additional comfort and intuitive operation, or the
new more positive interlock mechanism, that enables more precise
control. "Mouse Control" gives the Digta Sonic Mic operator control,
without the need to use a mouse: The entire digital editing process can
be controlled on the computer using Track Point. In addition the device
supports the DSSPro language standard, which has been further developed
for optimal recording quality. This combined with the DigtaSoft pc
software ensures the highest quality sound possible when recording
voices, which in turn provides ideal conditions for the successful
application of voice recognition systems. In addition the Digta Sonic Mic operator benefits from a comprehensive safety concept: Language
data is encoded (encryption) during the recording phase. |
