Voice recognition

For users who don't have a secretary or a transcription service, voice recognition is n option.  Voice recognition allows your speech to be directly and automatically converted into typed documents, thus saving time and money as well.  The completed voice file simply has to be transferred from the desktop or mobile dictation device to a suitable voice recognition system.

Grundig Business Systems' digital dictation solutions already include a range of integrated voice recognition solutions. The Digta 420 is ideally suited for combined use with voice recognition. It supports the new DSSPro voice standard which processes digitized speech quickly, simply and in a set format. Because of the higher data rate and special compression technology DSSPro is perfect for use with voice recognition software.

These features as well as the use of additional tools for portable digital dictation devices (like the directional Digta DirectMic plug-in microphone, for example) enable users to record dictations independently and transfer the voice files instantly to the voice recognition application without any loss of quality. They are then transformed into typed documents at high speed.

Modern voice recognition systems currently have recognition accuracy rates of between  95% and 98%. The most important factors for using such systems successfully are correct software training as well as the right acoustic conditions. Furthermore, our software, just like the hand-held dictation devices, provides a feature which is important for work with voice recognition : The so-called "info function" is geared for all kinds of information not belonging to the actual text of the dictation(for example. formatting, dispatch, or instructions for the transcription service). These sections can be automatically left out by the voice recognition software.
